Privacy Policy

ReferralCoder is a static informational website. It does not collect personal data, does not use tracking cookies, does not require user accounts, and does not require any form to be filled out. Visitors can browse all content anonymously. The only data processed are standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, timestamp) generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and uptime monitoring purposes, retained for a maximum of 30 days.

• No account registration. ReferralCoder has no user accounts, login, or signup process.
• No cookies for tracking. The site does not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that identify individual visitors.
• No analytics tracking pixels. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party heat-mapping tools.
• No newsletter signup or email collection. No email forms anywhere on the site.
• No comment system. No Disqus, no third-party comment widgets, no user-generated content collection.
• No fingerprinting. No canvas fingerprinting, browser fingerprinting, or similar visitor-identification techniques.

The site is hosted on Netlify. Netlify automatically processes standard HTTP request data including:

• IP address (used for DDoS protection, abuse prevention, and serving the correct geographic content)
• Browser user agent string
• Requested URL and HTTP method
• Response status code
• Timestamp of the request

These logs are retained for security and operational purposes for a maximum of 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. The legal basis under GDPR is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): operating a secure, reliable website. Server logs are not used for marketing, profiling, or any individual identification.

Netlify's own privacy practices apply to the underlying infrastructure. See Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy for their data processing terms.

ReferralCoder links to external cryptocurrency exchanges via referral codes and referral URLs. When you click a referral link and navigate to an exchange website (for example, bybit.com or binance.com), you leave ReferralCoder and become subject to that exchange's privacy policy.

The exchange may set its own tracking cookies, log your visit, and associate your eventual account signup with the ReferralCoder referral. This is how referral programmes work technically. ReferralCoder does not see your personal information at the exchange; we receive aggregated referral attribution data (number of signups, total trading volume by referred users) from the exchange's affiliate platform, without individual identification.

If you want to use an exchange without the referral being recorded, navigate directly to the exchange URL by typing it in your browser without clicking through the ReferralCoder link.

If you email hello@referralcoder.com with a code report, correction, or question, the email content and your email address are processed solely to respond to your message. Emails are retained for up to 12 months for editorial reference, then deleted. Your email address is not added to any mailing list, not shared with third parties, and not used for marketing.

Under GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Because ReferralCoder collects almost no personal data, most of these rights have limited application here. Specifically:

• Right to access: we do not maintain a personal data record about you, so there is nothing to disclose beyond email correspondence (if any).
• Right to erasure: server logs auto-delete within 30 days; email correspondence can be deleted on request.
• Right to object: if you want your IP address excluded from server logs in real time, this is not technically feasible while you visit the site, but logs are deleted within 30 days regardless.
• Right to complain: you can file a complaint with your national data protection authority (in the EU) at any time.

ReferralCoder is not directed at children under the age of 18. Cryptocurrency trading is restricted to adults in most jurisdictions; exchanges require age verification during KYC. If you are under 18, do not use the referral codes on this site to register for any exchange.

If this privacy policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. Material changes (for example, the introduction of any new data processing) will be noted clearly with a summary of the change.
